This is a good time to consider joining us; in the past few months Doncaster Council have signalled their confidence in the company by agreeing a new five-year management agreement which will commence in April 2024.

The Board of St Leger have recently approved a new corporate plan which will also come into effect in April with the mission of ‘’providing homes in neighbourhoods where people are proud to live’’ and last year we achieved the company’s best ever value for money outcomes.

We’ve set ourselves high standards and have been delighted to recently secure accreditation to HDN, TPAS, Investors in People, DAHA as well as retaining our accreditations with Customer Service Excellence, the British Safety Council and retained our ISO45001 accreditation.

We are now looking for someone with vision and a track record of delivering high quality services in partnership with others who can replace our current Director of Property Services who will become the Chief Executive in May.

The Director of Property Services is a key member of our executive leadership team. Working closely with fellow directors and the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for the direction of Property Services, including responsibility for the development and delivery of our asset investment strategy, leadership and management of our in-house repairs teams, plus health and safety and building compliance services.

We are looking for a property professional, who has the expertise and track record of driving improvement in asset management, building and fire safety, property compliance, investment and repairs and maintenance.

As our new Director of Property Services, you will know what excellent customer service delivery looks and feels like. You will lead the development, implementation, and delivery of a new 5-year Asset Management and Environmental Strategy. You will need to drive through culture change and be at the cutting edge of delivering on the Building Safety Bill & Fire Safety Bill agenda.

We are looking for someone who has the right personal characteristics, approach and skills to help us further define and deliver our new corporate plan priority themes of:

  • Homes – providing good quality safe homes at a rent tenants can afford.
  • Communities – helping to build communities not just homes.
  • Partnership – making a significant contribution to Doncaster’s thriving ‘People, Place and Planet ambitions
